Participant
a) Every participant in News Casting must be a high school student
c) The registration fee is Rp 100.000,- for each participant
d) Maximum quota are 50 in 1st Round, 24 in 2nd Round, and 8 participants in Final Round (it would depend on participant’s amount at 1st Round).
e) There will be 3 winners in this competition (Champion, Runner Up, Second Runner Up)
f) Every participants will get a certificate of joining this competition, and for the winners :
· Champion will get Rp 3.000.000 and a trophy
· Runner Up will get Rp 2.000.000 and a trophy
· Second Runner Up will get Rp 1.000.000 and a trophy
Rules
I. General Rules
a) Every participant in this competition must be a senior high school student.
b) Every participant or the representative has to attend the Technical Meeting.
c) Every participant should already be re-registered before the competition starts.
d) Every participant should be present punctually (at least 1 hour before the competition starts). We do not compromise with all of the lateness.
e) Every participants should aware the maximum duration of performance (see special rules).
f) The contents and or the materials used in this competition originated from the committee cannot be altered except for the parts designed in the special rules. Every participant should make their own opening and closing sentence.
g) All participants should respect and appreciate every judgment from the adjudicators.
II. Special Rules for 1st Round
a) This competition will be held on December, 9th 2010 at Bakrie University.
b) In this round, the performance number and the materials of the competition will be given at Technical Meeting.
c) Forms of competition
In this round the participants should present themself as newsanchor by read news letter and present the weather forcast at maximum duration 7 minutes in front of the adjudicators.
d) Physical appereance
Every participant has to wear formal apparel (Blazer is a must, no jeans in this competition, and pantofel shoes). Every participant must keep his/her appereance neat and clean (this includes hair neatness). Minimal use of cosmetics is allowed.
e) Scoring Criteria
Performance (Self presentation, Confidence, Attire and Neatness, Expression and Eye contact), Material (Material control, Intonation, Tempo, Timing, Fluency, Creativity).
III. Special Round for 2nd Round
a) This competition will be held on December, 10th 2010 at Bakrie University.
b) In this round, the performance number and the materials of the competition will be given after 2nd Round Finalist Announcement.
c) Forms of competition
In this round the participants should present themself as live reporter. Then, they should report surroundings (which is prepared by committees) and interview people (prepared by committee). The maximum duration is 5 minutes.
d) Physical appereance
Every participant has to wear formal apparel (Blazer is a must, no jeans in this competition, and pantofel shoes). Every pasticipant must keep his/her appereance neat and clean (this includes hair neatness). Minimal use of cosmetics is allowed.

IV. Special Round for Final Round
a) This competition will be held on December, 11th 2010 at Bakrie University.
b) In this round, the performance number and the materials of the competition will be given after Finalist Announcement.
c) Forms of competition (Brain Challenge)
Participants will be paired, then each pair will compete in Brain Challenge as pro and contra. Moderaror in this round is prepared by the committee.
d) Physical appereance
Every participant has to wear formal apparel (Blazer is a must, no jeans in this competition, and pantofel shoes). Every pasticipant must keep his/her appereance neat and clean (this includes hair neatness). Minimal use of cosmetics is allowed.
